«The Best City.UA» nominated for European Festival Awards.

«Ukrainian international Music Festival «TheBestCity.UA», which is held in Dnipropetrovsk, is nominated for a prestigious European award of European Festival Awards, in the category of Best Medium-sized Festival. Also, for the victory in this nomination are fight about 80 festivals in Europe. We are honored to receive such high appraisal. Holding events of such level opens Ukraine to the world and strengthens its image on the international arena. It is an important element of development of tourism in the country. We are proud that we were creating one of the cultural brands of Ukraine - The BestCity.UA, - Alexander Vilkul, Chairman of the organizing Committee of the festival have written on his page on Facebook.

The annual prize of European Festival Awards was founded in 2009, the European festival Association - Yourope and festival Eurosonic Noorderslag, and is the most prestigious festival award in Europe. Winners in various nominations are defined by vote of the audience and the professional jury.

Voting ends on the website ceremony before November 1, 2013. Each voting will not only help «TheBestCity.UA» get in the short-list of the prize, but to get the prizes from the organizing Committee of European Festival Awards. The main prize for participation in the voting - DreamSummer ("Summer dreams") - 2 tickets for each festival, winning in a particular category. The winners will be announced immediately after holidays - January 15, 2014 on opening Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen, Holland.

He added that holding «TheBestCity.UA» is an important component of the development of Ukrainian music and culture. The festival is conducted the reconstruction of the Cossack battles, cultural performances, flash-mobs, are artists, including folk. In particular, this year the festival conducted master classes and events dedicated to Petrikivsky, which in December will also be nominated for the prestigious status of the UNESCO world cultural intangible heritage.
